WCCC Seasonal Events

Neighbor Day Festival: Sponsored by West Central Coalition and established to celebrate the anniversary of COPS West's opening as Spokane's first volunteer-operated police substation. This event is to honor children, family values, and to bring citizens, businesses and agencies together by working on a common goal. Each year the festival will have a new theme and attracts upward of 800 neighbors and families. Carnival booths are designed and operated by North Central high school Leadership and DECCA classes. Tickets are 5 for $1. This event is held the last Saturday of April from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Coats 4 Kids: Winter coat and hat distribution center in partnership with KXLY and Martinizing Cleaners of Spokane. Coat drop-offs during the month of October for distribution the first two weeks of November. Free.

EVENTS

Halloween Carnival: Halloween carnival is held the Friday before Halloween, from 7 - 9 p.m. Admission is one canned food donation and is for kids ages 12 and under.

Winterfest: West Central Community Center and Kiwanis sponsor this festival of holiday entertainment and dinner for neighborhood residents and a visit from Santa for area children. This event is held in December and is free.
